Morning Mika and Joe NBC are Engaged

Cohosts of MSNBC's "Morning Joe", Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough are engaged. The announcement felt more like letting the cat out of the bag, but regular viewers of the show were probably not surprised. The body language and repartee of Brzezinski and Scarborough made the announcement a foregone conclusion. TCC's response was like that of SNL's. We saw it coming, but we're not sure what to make of it:

Politics Becoming Popular Spectator Sport

Politics TCC started down this road with a post yesterday, Funny Response to Trump Tweetstorm , that was a GIFF poking fun at White House press secretary Sean Spicer's response to President Trump's cell phone usage to tweet. Politics seems to be a uniting force, both pro and against Trump, on social media and in everyday conversations with Americans commenting, "Did you hear..." "How about..."  "Can you believe...." Stephen Colbert , host of CBS ' "Late Night with Stephen Colbert",  has moved from 2nd place to 1st since the inauguration of Trump. Other late-night hosts are also experiencing a boost in ratings as it appears Americans are using these vehicles as either proof of political views (confirmation or conspiracy) or just as a coping mechanism. Each day Trump seems provide new fodder for late-night television hosts to sink their teeth into.  clipartfox.com

Looks Like Kerry Washington Couldn't Fix SNL

Reviews for Kerry Washington's appearance on SNL , considering Saturday Night Live was dealing with a very public issue concerning the lack of black females on the show, seems to have focused the diversity problem (like a laser) on the writing staff as well. Could diversity among the writing staff be the issue, too?
