The Week That Was
Recap 2703
The week started off with About Last Night's 2017 Oscars, (which was one memorable Academy Awards show), that ended with Two Oscar Accountants Out Of The Envelope Business, and Warren Beatty demonstrating he's nobody's fall guy. In retail, 'BCBG Max Azria' Rumored To Be Among Retail Casualties, as online shopping continues its dominance. YouTube TV Rolled Out and we read a great piece in Vanity Fair about CNN's Jeff Zucker's Big Digital Plans. We finished the week with television's MidSeason TV Winners and Losers. We missed Arnold Schwarzenegger, host of "The New Celebrity Apprentice" deciding he would not return for Season 2. Schwarzenegger blames spectator and sponsorship support, not to mention President Trump's baggage. However Donald J. Trump tweeted:
Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't voluntarily leaving the Apprentice, he was fired by his bad (pathetic) ratings, not by me. Sad end to great show— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 4, 2017
Happy Sunday!
