Gannett Moving Closer to Broadcasting Programming

Looks like Gannett, best known for its publishing operations, is looking to move into broadcasting programming. With "43 stations covering 30% of the country," Gannett is in a prime position to develop and produce programs. Although, it has been reported that Gannett Broadcasting would also look for opportunities to partner with "other broadcasters", the category or kind of programming has not been specified.
