David Gregory Paid To Go Away Quietly?

All is well that ends well. There are reports surfacing that NBC might have paid, former "Meet The Press" moderator, David Gregory to leave. Gregory, who did not give a final broadcast this past Sunday, surprised viewers who expected a "goodbye, it's been nice". Instead veteran journalist Andrea Mitchell, who moderated this week and possibly until Chuck Todd takes over on September 7th, spoke about  David Gregory's contribution at the helm of MTP. Unfortunately for Gregory the MTP viewers, who fled in large numbers, didn't feel the same way. However, if reports are true, Gregory should feel a little better with $4 million in the bank.

'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Is King

Ratings At 9PM on April 6, a total of 6.6 million viewers (including us) were watching the often bloody and grisly "Game Of Thrones" season 4 premiere. This was GoT's most-watched episode  to date, and the most-watched episode of any HBO series since 2007. Season four of GoT was up 52% from season three's premiere. Another 1.6 million viewers watched the show at 11PM and 1AM. Bringing the Nielsen's ratings up to 8.2 million. HBO GO (where our members were able to get caught up) is expected to drive the numbers even higher. As we've stated before, we just wish GoT would pick up the pace just a little bit.
