How To Be Popular 50s Style is New Again

Movie Deals

Kudos to DreamWorks for spotting this one! We love this story (see below) and the eventual movie should be cute and fun. The movie will be based on an 8th grader's, Maya Van Wagenen now fifteen,  journal, which she wrote as she followed advice from Betty Cornell’s "Glamour Guide For Teens." Wow, there's a name so fitting from the 50's. Who would have thought in this age of technology we would be looking to the past (let's say a time when ugly landline phones and typewriters with ribbon were the norm) for current entertainment. Perhaps we should get the book too.
