Products We Like


We never thought we would be including Old Spice as a Product We Like,  but when one of the CC member's 14 year old son came home with a can of the body spray we couldn't resist. After all, of all the products on the market today, why pick a brand that was introduced for men in 1938! Perhaps it was the name of the body spray, After Hours. Aspirational we suspect. Anyway, our CC member took a whiff and it actually smells good.

Politics Becoming Popular Spectator Sport

Politics TCC started down this road with a post yesterday, Funny Response to Trump Tweetstorm , that was a GIFF poking fun at White House press secretary Sean Spicer's response to President Trump's cell phone usage to tweet. Politics seems to be a uniting force, both pro and against Trump, on social media and in everyday conversations with Americans commenting, "Did you hear..." "How about..."  "Can you believe...." Stephen Colbert , host of CBS ' "Late Night with Stephen Colbert",  has moved from 2nd place to 1st since the inauguration of Trump. Other late-night hosts are also experiencing a boost in ratings as it appears Americans are using these vehicles as either proof of political views (confirmation or conspiracy) or just as a coping mechanism.
