Donna Summer and Shared Memories


News of Donna Summer's passing brings back so many memories for some of us in The Conversation Circle... A one-time visit to Studio 54, too many nights at a club called Elan and our favorite memory will always be dancing to "Last Dance", as the club closed, then stumbling into a restaurant for breakfast at 3am. Rest in peace Donna. You take with you so many fond memories of youth, wild and crazy times and bad outfits.  We wouldn't change any of it for the world!

'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Is King

Ratings At 9PM on April 6, a total of 6.6 million viewers (including us) were watching the often bloody and grisly "Game Of Thrones" season 4 premiere. This was GoT's most-watched episode  to date, and the most-watched episode of any HBO series since 2007. Season four of GoT was up 52% from season three's premiere. Another 1.6 million viewers watched the show at 11PM and 1AM. Bringing the Nielsen's ratings up to 8.2 million. HBO GO (where our members were able to get caught up) is expected to drive the numbers even higher. As we've stated before, we just wish GoT would pick up the pace just a little bit. Looks Like Kerry Washington Couldn't Fix SNL

Reviews for Kerry Washington's appearance on SNL , considering Saturday Night Live was dealing with a very public issue concerning the lack of black females on the show, seems to have focused the diversity problem (like a laser) on the writing staff as well.
