More on CBS


CBS is reportedly paying Laurence Fishburne 14 million dollars for CSI, not that he doesn’t deserve it. His debut on the show was its best ratings since the season premiere. We also saw Laurence on Broadway and he was fantastic. However, at the same time, CBS has demanded that existing television show producers reduce their budgets for next year. Guess you can’t win them all. We’re cheering for you CBS.

Politics Becoming Popular Spectator Sport

Politics TCC started down this road with a post yesterday, Funny Response to Trump Tweetstorm , that was a GIFF poking fun at White House press secretary Sean Spicer's response to President Trump's cell phone usage to tweet. Politics seems to be a uniting force, both pro and against Trump, on social media and in everyday conversations with Americans commenting, "Did you hear..." "How about..."  "Can you believe...." Stephen Colbert , host of CBS ' "Late Night with Stephen Colbert",  has moved from 2nd place to 1st since the inauguration of Trump. Other late-night hosts are also experiencing a boost in ratings as it appears Americans are using these vehicles as either proof of political views (confirmation or conspiracy) or just as a coping mechanism.
