Orange for Today

The "Today" show unveiled its new set this morning and it's decidedly orange.  There's also an Orange Room for Carson Daly to hang out in. Considering most people are running around as they watch Today, the best part of the new set is the big screen Al Roker will use for weather reports! We think orange is a warm and happy color. Perhaps show producers are hoping viewers will warm up to Today again. Only time will tell if orange will spell more green for "Today" in ad dollars.

Politics Becoming Popular Spectator Sport

Politics TCC started down this road with a post yesterday, Funny Response to Trump Tweetstorm , that was a GIFF poking fun at White House press secretary Sean Spicer's response to President Trump's cell phone usage to tweet. Politics seems to be a uniting force, both pro and against Trump, on social media and in everyday conversations with Americans commenting, "Did you hear..." "How about..."  "Can you believe...." Stephen Colbert , host of CBS ' "Late Night with Stephen Colbert",  has moved from 2nd place to 1st since the inauguration of Trump. Other late-night hosts are also experiencing a boost in ratings as it appears Americans are using these vehicles as either proof of political views (confirmation or conspiracy) or just as a coping mechanism.
