Deep rich colors have hit the runway during NYFW RTW Fall 2013. Designers like Kenneth Cole and Sally LaPointe introduced colors in their fall lines that can serve as a stand-in for all of that black in our wardrobes! We think the rich burgundy wine color is regal and subdued.

2017 Oscar Nominations Are A Full Spectrum

Awards After last year's fiasco, which saw many performers boycotting  the awards show, the nominations for the 89th Academy Awards are not "so white". A record number of African Americans, Viola Davis, Dev Patel, Octavia Spencer, Denzel Washington, Mahershala Ali, Naomie Harris and Ruth Nega have been nominated for acting. Golden Globes 2017 Winners List Viola Davis who won a Golden Globe for her role in Fences, as Best Supporting Actress, has also made history as the first African American to get three Oscar nominations.  The 2017 Oscars is set to air, Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
