It's Chapter 11 for Borders

A lazy (rainy) day at Borders is always something to look forward to. While we're not the internet and coffee crowd, we do like to browse through the books for possible purchase. But then comes the challenge of finding a book that doesn't appear to have been read by 50 people.

Why buy a book if you can read it for free? Isn't that the purpose of a library? We often wondered how the newfangled bookstores made money. Perhaps they are making it on the cafe. When we buy a book we want a fresh copy. No palm prints, please!

While we still shop at Borders, (we do hope they successfully reorganize), it is only for time sensitive purchases. We love the option of eBooks, but it doesn't compare to the feeling of holding a book in your hand.
