Ellen to Idol

In a surprise move, at least to some, Ellen DeGeneres has worked out a 5 year deal to be the 4th judge on American Idol. Some in the CC have grown to like Ellen’s talk show. Especially, her routine of asking guests to dance. Who can forget the unforgettable moment when she and Chris Matthews, host of MSNBC’s Hardball, took to the floor? It was hilarious! Since Idol has 3 judges with formal music experience, we feel Ellen coming onboard with her unique brand of humor is a fresh twist that will only increase audience share. After all, now we will have to tune in to see Ellen. Good luck!

'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Is King

Ratings At 9PM on April 6, a total of 6.6 million viewers (including us) were watching the often bloody and grisly "Game Of Thrones" season 4 premiere. This was GoT's most-watched episode  to date, and the most-watched episode of any HBO series since 2007. Season four of GoT was up 52% from season three's premiere. Another 1.6 million viewers watched the show at 11PM and 1AM. Bringing the Nielsen's ratings up to 8.2 million. HBO GO (where our members were able to get caught up) is expected to drive the numbers even higher. As we've stated before, we just wish GoT would pick up the pace just a little bit.
